Before October 1, 2020, the above products produced by domestic enterprises should be delivered, sold or used in other business activities with a valid production license or CCC certification. For companies that have obtained a production license, if the above products will no longer continue to be produced after October 1, 2020 (inclusive), they do not need to apply for CCC certification; otherwise, they should submit the certification commission as soon as possible and before October 1, 2020 Obtained CCC certification.

Q: How long does it take to obtain 3C certification?
A: The application is about 5 working days, the product inspection is about 30-50 working days, and the initial factory inspection is about 90 working days in total (excluding the rectification time when problems occur).
Q: How long is the validity period of the explosion-proof 3C certificate?
A: The certificate is valid for 5 years. During the validity period, the validity of the certificate depends on the post-certification supervision of the certification body. If the validity period of the certificate has expired and it needs to be used for renewal, the certification client shall submit a certification entrustment within 90 days before the validity period of the certificate expires. If the supervision result is qualified for the last time after obtaining the certificate within the validity period of the certificate, a new certificate shall be reissued directly after receiving the certification entrustment.
Q: Does explosion-proof 3C need to be reviewed every year?
A: After obtaining the certificate for the first time or after the initial factory inspection, the manufacturer shall in principle conduct at least one follow-up inspection every natural year. The specifics will depend on the type of enterprise.
